This morning, retired USMC Colonel Dan Gillan is strolling through the rows of white marble headstones while playing the bagpipes. Since 2008, Mr. Gillan has made a point to bring his bagpipes to Andersonville National Cemetery each Memorial Day to pay tribute to the thousands of veterans buried here.
He strolls through each section of the cemetery to ensure that all our veterans are honored.
