WELCOME TO THE STINGRAYS!
Join the Albany YMCA Stingrays Swim Team (PART TIME) and experience the excitement of competitive swimming in a fun, supportive, and family-focused environment! Our program welcomes swimmers ages 5 to 18 — from those just learning the fundamentals to seasoned athletes preparing for championship competition.
The Stingrays focus on building strong swimming techniques, confidence, and character while promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship — the core of the Albany YMCA mission.
Swimmers have the opportunity to compete in local, regional, and Georgia Recreation and Park Association (GRPA) state-level meets, where top performers may become eligible for college scholarship consideration and athletic recognition. Competing at the state level not only builds valuable experience but can also open doors to future educational and athletic opportunities.
Program Highlights:
